Step 1: Enroll for PMI-ACP training from REP of PMI(Project Management Institute)

Step 2:  Understand the exam pattern and prepare in advance.

Step 3: Register to become a member of the PMI to access your information and manage your account.

Step 4:  Enter the project experience hours earned in the last 5 years.

Step 5:  Enter your 21 contact training hours (PDUs) earned during the  PMI-ACP training.

Step 6: Submit your PMI-ACP application through the PMI website & pay the fee(Member: Rs $435, Non-member: $495).

Step 7: Take the 3-hour online exam comprising 120 MCQs.

Step 8:  Get a minimum 70% score to pass the PMI-ACP exam.

Step 9: After passing the exam, PMI-ACP certification is added to your profile. 

Step 10: The certificate needs to be renewed every 3 years by earning 30 PDUs.

  • What are the prerequisites to attend the PMI-ACP training?

    The prerequisites to attend PMI-ACP training are:

    • Secondary degree

    • 21 contact hours (PDUs)of training in Agile practices

    • 12 months of general project work experience within the span of the last 5 years or an active PMP/PgMP credential. and

    • 8 months of Agile project experience within the span of the last 3 years

  • What is the format of the PMI-ACP certification exam?

    The PMI-ACP Exam comprises 120 MCQs (multiple choice questions). Out of these 120 questions 20 are considered as pre-test questions and will not be included in the final score. The minimum passing score is 70% and the duration of the exam is 3 hours.

  • Is the exam fee included in the course fee?

    Yes, the exam fee is included in the course fee if you are a member of PMI (Rs $435). For non-PMI members, the exam fee(Rs $495) is not included in the course fee.

  • How do I attain the PMI-ACP course certification?

    To attain the PMI-ACP certification, you must take formal training on PMI Agile Certified Practitioner and gain PMI membership. Once you become the member, pay the exam fee directly to schedule your exam. After passing the exam successfully with a minimum of 70%, you will be awarded the widely recognized PMI-ACP certificate from PMI.

  • How long does the PMI-ACP certification be valid?

    The PMI-ACP certificate is valid for 3 years. You need to earn 30 PDUs (professional development units) in Agile concepts before the expiry date in order to renew your certificate.

  • How do I renew the PMI-ACP certification?

    To renew PMI-ACP certification, earn 30 PDUs to meet the Continuing Certification Requirements (CCR) for the certification and submit the PDUs in the online CCR system and pay the renewal fees which is $60 for PMI members and $150 for non-members.
