You have a year from the date of completion of the course to take the exam. However, please note, you need to book the exam within six months of completing the course.
The MSP course has two levels. One is Foundation and the Practitioner. The exam format for both the certifications are as follows: MSP Foundation Course - Multiple-choice format with 75 online questions per paper where each question carries 1 mark each. Out of the 75 questions, 5 are trial questions. The duration of the exam is 60 minutes. Of these, you need to score a minimum of 50% (35 marks out of 70) to pass the exam. This is a closed book exam, in English. MSP Practitioner course – it is objective testing with 8 questions online per paper. The duration of the exam is two and a half hours. Of these, you need to score a minimum of 50% (40 marks out of 80) to pass the exam. This is an open book exam, in English and only the official MSP manual is allowed.
Yes, the exam fee is included in the course fee. However, you need to register for the exam within six months of completion of the course. Else, you will need to pay the entire course fee again. However, if there is an increase in price for the exam from an accredited institute before you book for the exam in the six months, you need to pay the extra amount to the training institute.
