SSM Certification FAQs

According to the new Scaled Agile guidelines, only participants taking their first SAFe course or the SPC course will receive a one-year membership. Participants who have taken subsequent courses will receive a 60-day membership regardless of whether their membership is still valid.

 To renew the SSM certification:

  • Log in to your account at https://community.scaledagile.com/
  • Go to the “My Certifications” section.
  • Click Renew next to your SSM certification.
  • Pay the annual renewal fee ($295) and complete the renewal process.

The SAFe Scrum Master certification is valid for one year from the date of certification.

The renewal cost for the SAFe Scrum Master certification is $195 every year. This fee maintains your active certification status and access to SAFe’s resources.

Each retake costs $50, which applies from your second attempt onwards. This fee helps cover exam administration costs for additional tries.
