    There are no specific prerequisites for the Professional ScrumMaster (PSM-A) certification course. However, candidates should be familiar with Scrum and preferably have worked as a Scrum Master in an Agile enterprise.

    Having the Professional Scrum Master (PSM-A) certification is helpful because it shows that you are a true Scrum leader. Get the PSM-A badge, which shows that you know a lot more than other people. It will help you become more successful in your work, get a bigger raise, and earn more.

    Candidates need to complete the two-day Professional ScrumMaster (PSM-A) course. Appear for the exam after successful completion of the course. You need to get a minimum of 85% to get awarded the Professional Scrum Master (PSM-A) certificate from Scrum.org.

    The PSM-A certificate from Scrum.org is valid for a lifetime, and no renewal is required.

    There is no expiration date for the exam, but Scrum.org will send you the password to take the PSM-A exam after completing the training; it can be used only for one attempt.

    While PSM I certification is not a strict prerequisite for PSM Advanced certification, it's strongly recommended. PSM I provides the foundational knowledge necessary to tackle the more advanced concepts covered in PSM Advanced.

    Yes, it is an open-book exam. During the exam, professionals can use our study materials or external resources to pass. However, Simpliaxis provides comprehensive study material, including practice tests, to familiarize oneself with the exam format and improve chances of scoring higher on the real exam.

    The PSM exams take 90 minutes. You must answer 30 multiple-choice questions at this time. These questions address various aspects of the Scrum framework.

    The reattempt can be taken at no additional cost if the first attempt was taken within 14 days of receiving the password from Scrum.org and did not secure a minimum of 85% marks.

    The passing score for the exam is 85%. Additionally, passing the exam is necessary to obtain the PSM-A certification.

    Simpliaxis provides two free attempts with the training. If you are unsuccessful on these two attempts, you will need to pay extra for the retake. The retake exam fee will be $250 per retake.

    First, complete the Simpliaxis PSM Advanced certification training. After that, purchase the PSM assessment from the Scrum.org website and get the link. You can use this link to access the exam and obtain your final certification.

    Scrum.org provides the PSM II certification. It is a global recognition that signifies your expertise in Scrum and Agile team management, as well as product delivery.

    No, you cannot pause the exam. The PSM exam must be completed in 90 minutes. The exam must be completed in one sitting.
