Why Business Environment Matters More Now
The jump to 26% changes how you should study. Business Environment covers strategy alignment, compliance, benefits realization and organizational change. Candidates once skimmed this domain because it carried only 8% of the questions. Now roughly 1 in 4 questions tests it.

The 1 December 2026 Training Rule
PMI tightened the 35-hour training rule for live classes. From 1 December 2026, live instructor-led training counts only if a PMI Authorized Training Partner (ATP) delivers it. China Registered Education Providers and eligible accredited academic programs also qualify. Self-paced courses still count from any provider.

How the PMBOK Guide 8th Edition Fits In
