Step 1: Check out the Agile Manifesto and the Scrum Guide

Reviewing the Agile Manifesto and the Scrum Guide is optional. Reviewing these documents will help you understand the concepts during the training session. However, there's no need to worry about comprehending the CSM course content in advance, as all concepts will be taught from scratch during the training.

Step 2: Enroll in a CSM or Certified Scrum Master training

This step is crucial in the Certified Scrum Master Certification process. You must attend a 16-hour in-person online class training session. These sessions, led by top industry leaders and Certified Scrum Trainers (CST), provide a comprehensive understanding of Scrum concepts. After completing the training, you will be well-prepared to take the exam.

Step 3: The trainer's report details:

Once you have completed the entire training session, the trainer will update all of your information with the Scrum Alliance, the certified governing body of CSM certification. Therefore, this part is compulsory.

The online exam comprises 50 multiple-choice questions. Candidates must score at least 74% to pass the exam. In that case, a minimum of 37 questions should be answered out of 50 within one hour.
