As part of the Agile Certified Practitioner training eligibility requirement, you need a high school diploma or Bachelor's degree. You also need the complete 21-contact hours of training in Agile practices. This includes formal education in Agile project philosophy, principles, practices, and methodologies. One contact hour is equal to one actual training or instruction hour. There is no time limit for acquiring these contact hours which are part of Agile Certified Practitioner training prerequisites.
As part of the Agile Certified Practitioner course eligibility, you need to have at least 12 months of general project experience within the past 5 years. You also need to have at least 8 months of Agile project experience within the past 3 years.
You need to pass a 3 hours exam that consists of 120 multiple-choice questions which fall under the Agile Certified Practitioner certification prerequisites. You must complete the course before sitting for the exam and then clear it to get PMI-ACP Certification.
You must earn 30 PDUs every three years by paying a renewal fee to maintain the certification. You should keep the renewal date in mind so that you can renew the certification before it expires.
