SAFe Release Train Engineer Certification Exam Format
If you have got a firm grip on the concepts and tools taught to you during the three-day training, you will have little difficulty in passing the SAFe RTE certification exam.
When you have prepared yourself to take the exam and are ready for it, log into the SAFe community platform where you can access the exam (the log-in credentials will be sent to you by Scaled Agile Inc.). It is a two-hour closed book exam that comprises multiple-choice questions (MCQs). You may be asked to choose one answer or even multiple answers to some questions. There are a total of 60 questions that you have to answer in 120 minutes. These questions will be based on whatever you have learned during the course. Before starting the exam, you will be asked to accept a candidate agreement. And you will be able to see a timer throughout the duration of the exam to lep track of the time. For the multiple response questions, you must choose all the correct answers as no credit will be given for partially answering the questions.

Cost of exam | If the exam is taken within 30 days of completing the course, the exam fee is included in the cost of course. If you attempt the exam within 30 days of completing the course or retake the exam, there is a fee of USD 50 for each attempt. |
At the end of the exam time, the exam will be submitted and your score will be calculated. If you have not answered the questions, your unanswered questions will be automatically marked as incorrect. In case you complete the exam before time, you can submit your exam by clicking the 'submit' button provided there and on submission, your score will be calculated.
Important: The passing percentage for the SAFe RTE certification exam is 75% meaning you have to answer at least 45 of the 60 questions correctly.
